Removal of benign skin changes, scars

Benign tumors, warts and pigment spots can be removed in one session with the erbium laser or the plasma pen under local anesthesia. Healing takes about 14 days.

Several laser systems are available for scar removal. The flat acne scars can be improved with a so-called Fraxel laser or a plasma pen, raised, bulging scars and viral warts are removed with the Erbium YAG laser. Here, too, the healing takes 14 days. Subsequently, exposure to the sun should be avoided for 4 weeks in order to avoid incorrect pigmentation.
