Fungal infections are one of the most common diseases in dermatology.
They attack the skin, mucous membrane, hair, nails and also the intestines.
First of all, it is necessary to determine the type of fungal pathogen, similar to that of bacteria, in order to select a precisely fitting therapeutic agent.
The determination takes place in our practice's own laboratory.
Most skin fungi can be treated with creams or solutions. Nail fungi also require taking tablets or laser treatment.
